This piece represents my best friend's portrait. After we had our anti-climatic drive-by high school graduation ceremony we didn't have a party or celebration that past students normally have. I wanted to capture her in this very accomplishing and deserving moment in her life because we felt our celebration was stolen from us. Pictured in the second image, I added an object/item that connects with who she is. Her favorite candy is skittles and during each important moment in both of our lives, skittles are always present!

This piece is a still life. I really liked how all of these objects were so different yet complimented each other whether texture, value, or theme-wise.
